How to start?

​Once you log in to your profile, navigate to "Created Courses" or use this direct link: https://learnformula.com/course-manage-list.

On the "Created Courses" page, click the "New Course" button and you will be asked to enter the title for your new course.

Set your desired title and proceed to the next step to start creating the course.

1. Choosing Method

If you have a PDF file (such as a research paper, presentation, or other document) that you want to turn into a video course, select the "I have PDF files" option. Then, click to upload or drag and drop your file from your computer.

Once the file is uploaded, scroll down and click "Next" to proceed. A confirmation prompt will appear—click "Confirm" to finalize your selection and continue.

2. Outline

In this step, you will Generate a Course Outline. You can let AI automatically determine the number of sections, videos, and slides, or manually organize them yourself.

Once you've made your selection, click "Generate Outline".

The AI will create an outline based on your preferences, but you can still edit it, add more sections, or modify topics. If you're not satisfied, you can regenerate a new outline.

Once you are ready to proceed, scroll down and click on the "Next" button to continue. It will ask you if you wish to confirm that you wish to proceed, so please click on the "Confirm" button to move forward.

3. Slides

After setting the outline, the program will automatically generate slides based on your document. These slides will serve as the background for your video.

You have full control over the slides—adjust the layout, change the theme, add media, or completely redesign or remove slides as needed. Feel free to experiment to make them more visually appealing, enhance readability, or align them with your brand.

Once you're satisfied with your slides, scroll down and click "Next". A confirmation prompt will appear—click "Confirm" to proceed.

4. Audio & Video Settings

Based on the PDF file you uploaded, you can choose whether to let AI generate a script and narration for your course or write the script yourself.

If you opt for AI-generated narration, you can select from six advanced AI voices to create high-quality audio for your slides.

Once you have selected your preferences, click "Next" to generate the audio and video.

After processing, you will see a script and audio for each slide. You can:

  • Regenerate the entire script using AI.

  • Manually edit the script and regenerate only the audio.

Review and Final Adjustments

Go through each slide, listen to the audio, and read the script to ensure the course meets your expectations. You can make changes as needed by clicking "Regenerate Script & Audio" or "Regenerate Audio".

Once you are satisfied, click "Complete" at the bottom. A confirmation prompt will appear—click "Confirm" to finalize and proceed.

5. Quiz Settings

Quizzes reinforce learning by helping students recall key concepts and identify gaps in their understanding. They also boost engagement and retention, ensuring knowledge is applied effectively.

In this step, you can create a quiz for your course. AI can assist in generating a quiz title and description, or you can enter them manually. You can also set a passing grade if you want students to demonstrate a minimum level of understanding before progressing.

If you don’t wish to include a quiz, simply click "Skip" to move forward.

If you choose to include a quiz, you have three options for adding questions:

  • Manually enter questions

  • Generate questions using AI

  • Import questions from a text file

Once your quiz is set up, click "Complete" at the bottom to finalize it.

6. Cover & Promotional video

When setting up your course, the Cover & Promotional Video page is crucial for making a strong first impression on potential students. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to fill out this section effectively.

Course Title & Subtitle

Enter a clear and concise course title. The subtitle should briefly describe what students will learn. Keep it engaging and relevant. You can also use AI to help you and create subtitles for you.

Cover Image

You can choose an AI auto-generated image, upload your own, or select one from Unsplash. A visually appealing cover can make your course stand out.

Promotional Video

Uploading a promo video helps potential students understand your course better. Keep it short, engaging, and informative.

General Information

The main category and subcategory will be automatically set based on your course outline. However, you can also change them to any other that best fits your course. Additional categories are optional but can help with visibility. Choose the language of the course and whether your course is available worldwide or in specific regions.

Once everything is filled out, click Save and Continue to move to the next step.

7. Profile

This step is where you introduce yourself as the instructor and add any co-authors or speakers who contributed to the course.

Instructor Information

Your name and profile picture will be displayed. Add a short and professional biography highlighting your expertise, experience, and qualifications related to the course topic.

Course Author (Optional)

If you collaborated with someone to create the course, you can add them as a course author. Authors are listed for student reference but won’t have access to the instructor account.

Course Speaker (Optional)

If your course includes guest speakers, such as experts interviewed in videos, you can add them here. Unlike authors, speakers may have a user account and a speaker fee but won’t have instructor access.

After filling in the details, click Save and Continue to proceed.

8. Pricing

This step allows you to set a price for your course and configure payment options.

Instructor Fee

Enter the amount you wish to receive for each course sale. The final course price will be determined after review. The currency may be pre-set based on your account settings.

Payments

To receive payments, connect a Stripe account. This allows you to accept credit card payments and transfer earnings directly to your bank account.

Once done, click Save and Continue to proceed to the next step.

9. Description

This section provides an overview of your course and helps students understand what they will learn.

Course Description

The description is automatically generated based on your course content, but you can edit or rewrite it to better reflect your course’s focus. Make sure it is clear, engaging, and highlights the key learning points.

Level & Prerequisites

Select the appropriate difficulty level: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. If your course requires prior knowledge, you can specify prerequisites to help students prepare.

Learning Objectives & Tags

AI will generate learning objectives based on the course content, but you can modify them. These objectives help students understand what skills they will gain. You can also add up to five tags to improve discoverability.

Once done, click Save and Continue to move to the final step.

10. Publication

This is the final step before submitting your course for review and publication.

Message to Manager (Optional)

You can leave a note for the reviewer if you want to provide additional details about your course or highlight any specific aspects.

Publication Status

Your course is currently not published. Clicking Publish will send it for review. Once approved, it will be visible in the course catalog and available for students to purchase.

Preview Option

Before publishing, use the Preview button to see how your course will appear to students.

  • Before Purchase – Sales Page View

  • After Purchase – Student Course View

Once you are ready, click Publish to submit your course for review.
