How can I purchase a course for someone else and ensure they have access?

Updated this week

If you want to buy a course for another person, it’s important to follow the right process so they can access it smoothly.

Purchasing for an Individual

Enter the Recipient’s Personal Information
When buying a course or subscription for someone else, make sure to use their name, email address, and contact details during the checkout process.

This links the course directly to their account, allowing them to receive all access instructions and notifications straight to their email.

Important: The certificate of completion will be generated in the name on the account. So it’s best to use the actual learner’s details to ensure the certificate is correct.

Sharing Login Details (If You Manage the Account)
If you prefer to manage the account yourself, you can use your own email to purchase and then share the login credentials with the person later.

However, it’s best to purchase using the individual’s own email so they have direct access and receive important updates without delay.

Purchasing as a Team License

If you want to buy access for multiple people, use the Team License purchase method.

This allows you to buy multiple seats/licenses and then invite team members individually to claim their access.

For detailed instructions, see:

How do I purchase a license for my team?

Summary

  • For individual purchases, enter the recipient’s personal details to ensure direct access.

  • For multiple users, buy a Team License and invite your team members accordingly.

  • If the access email isn’t received, verify the email used and contact support if needed.

What to Do If You Don’t Receive an Verification Link After Purchase

  • Check the email inbox (and spam/junk folder) of the email address used during purchase.

  • Make sure the email is correct and that no typos were made during checkout.

  • If you still don’t see the access email within 30 minutes, contact LearnFormula Support for help:
